    Make sure that it will work in the country you are taking it to.

    Only if the item is used can you allow the TV to pass duty free.

    I suppose, if you’re already using the TV, you can claim it to be used.

    You may need to provide the purchase receipt in order to calculate the duties and tax on the item, which can run up to 50% of the value of the item. However, if you claim it is used, you can exempt the first PHP10,000 of its value. You’ll just have to pay duty+tax on the excess.
