Okay, I’m a guy and I’m a sophmore in high school. I have a hard time starting a conversation with a girl. But once I’m in one, I usually always can make the girl laugh and have a good time and stuff.
So I thought of this…which is kind of like a “pickup line” but I don’t know, so girls what do you think?
Heres an example situation.
During lunch, I see a good lookng girl a few tables across. She’s sitting with her friends, and I walk over. I say something like”
“Hey, I know this is a little random, but I just want to let you know that I think your pretty cute.”
Girls….if a guy said this to you, how would you feel? Would your reaction depend on how the guy was? If the guy was good looking or bad looking” Or would you not care and just take the complaiment and say thank you?
Remember this is some total stranger that you have no idea about.

I would find that creepy. Try to be more casual. get to know the person. You just have to work on talking to girls.

I don’t think that’s creepy at all. If a guy said that to me and just walked away, I’d be super flattered AND I’d know he’s confident, which is sexy. It would also leave me curious and wanting more information. You’d be almost certain that she’d come talk to you in the future.

to be honest, it could go either way. if the guy is cute and charming, then that would be a nice compliment. but if he’s a creeper and says it in a way that just makes you feel uncomfortable, i’d just be really turned off.
I’ve had guys do that. It actually turns a girl off when a guy does all the chasing. Don’t be hard to get and I do agree to pursue her a little bit but not too much.
When guys did that to me, I was weirded out. I don’t think I’d date a guy who said that. I’d take the compliment, say thanks, and be on my way.

haha my school is massive and that happens a lot. just dont do it when any guys are around her cause they get pissed. nah it isnt weird at all its actully really nice that guys have the confidence to tell girls that in front of her friends.

i would love it if a boy said this to me. stranger or no stranger. if he was good looking i would flirt back. if he was like completely hideous i would just smile and say thanks. but it’s definately not creepy at all.

if it was some stranger i would probably be creeped out at first but i would take the compliment and say thank you. and i would probably try to get his name and just the basic stuff if i thought he was an ok guy of course. then possibly after i got used to the guy i might start to like him idk it would depend on his attitude and how he acts
It’s one of the oldest pick up lines in the book and therefore it goes without saying, that it’s tired. Pretty girls get told that they’re pretty all the time. It gets boring. Try to come up with something a little more unique and personal. Trust. ‘;-()
I’d be polite and say thank you, but I now matter how good he looked, I would think that he was odd/creepy. Get to know the girl first, then use that line over time. It’s nice, but not a good thing to say right off of the bat. Hoped I helped!
My reaction wouldn’t really depend on how good-looking the guy was. If he said it sincerely (without laughing or anything) then I’d definitely thank him and I might even talk to him some more. And if I liked him then I might even give him my number. But some girls aren’t like me. I know ALOT of girls who would only talk to the guy if he was cute, otherwise they’d comepletely ignore the guy.
Yeah that would be weird for her especially if she around a group of her friends. Don’t do that youll embarass yourself. Try talking to her in the hallways.
Uh… it depends. It’s cute. Like, it’s not a creepy or dorky or cheesy pick-up line. But if you think too hard about it, and you try saying it, you might mess it up and it will SOUND like you planned it. So watch out. If your good-looking she’ll probably want to bang you right then and there because its such a nice thing to say and people don’t normally get that very much because nobody gives compliments anymore except the really nice people. So uhh..yeah. Try it!

Some girls I know would be mean about it…but I would take it as a compliment…just don’t concentrate on her for a while after or else she’ll get all conceited and think she has a new stalker…don’t be stalkerish! If you’re cute you can pull it off, just make sure it is a girl that looks nice.
ok well im a feshmen girl and i would be really like freaked out at first and then later be like totally excited. once someone said that to me id be like ummm thanks….. whats ur name? and stuff like that. but thats just me. who knows what others girls wwould do. depends on the girl…. good luck! the point is that you had enough guts in the first place!
I think you have to start off slow like, talk to her first and get to know her. But I would think that is a compliment….go ahead, go with your gut instinct.

lol anyways well i would be ok with it and think it was cute and sweet as long as the guy didnt look like a psycho or anything and close to my age or in the teens i actually think thats a good line to start off with and if you can make me laugh you get extra points well the guy would if that ever happened to me. So no, i wouldnt be scared

now that i’m older, i would take it as a compliment and say thank you…but as a teenager, i would be embarassed. my suggestion is ditch the pickup lines, talk from the heart, and let the conversation fall where it does
Unfortunately most girls would go based on what they see, (what you look like) and then react. I would suggest you do this to a girl on her own and not with a bunch of friends around. but if someone did this to me while in hs alone i would be flattered and be like well thank you… maybe you can ask if you can walker to class and ask what her name is before you try and compliment her……

taking from MY view, I would be freaked out that a guy would just randomly come to me and say I’m cute. If it was someone i know, then it’s an entirely different story.
What I think you should do is be brave, go up to the girl, and make friends with her first. Then you can go on and tell her how insanely cute she is
If the stranger was cute, clean looking, and normal, then I would have no problem with it.
However, something like this happened to me today. But the kid was fat, creepy, and just weird… so THAT I found annoying and very creepy.
